Mental Anguish

Mental anguish has captured the minds of the miserable multitudes. All are under its tyranny, and they will continue to suffer dreadfully and needlessly until they learn the secrets of escape from that vast prisoner-of-war camp inside their own minds. And I'm going to give you a first step right now.

Oh, how many suffer from mental anguish? You suffer from it because you continue to do the wrong thing when it jumps up and grabs you and starts to wrestle you down to the mat. The first wrong thing you do is that you do not separate yourself from what has been masquerading as part of your nature. The anguish is not a part of you, but you don't know this. It's not clear in your mind yet. And so it's able to leap into the ring and grapple with you.

You also, as a second failure, do not make an effort - a deliberate, strong, instantaneous effort to step aside to dodge the attack when you see it coming. Instead of jumping aside, you grapple with it, and it gets you every time. I'm exposing now great mysteries, marvelous secrets of spiritual success, by which you can do something different than you have always done before and come out a winner.

You win by not wrestling, not grappling, not grabbing the opponent and trying to pin him down to the mat.
