Light vs. Darkness

The man who dares to challenge the false power of a dark condition will not fail to win. Even a small effort gives him a glimpse of alternatives, shows him the difference between his pain and his freedom from it. He is like a man in a dark cavern who finds a small candle to light. That small candle will not illuminate the whole cave, but it gives him a basis for comparison. He sees, ever so dimly, that there is an alternative to darkness. Having seen that much, he eagerly lights another candle and an other and another, until he finds himself in the bright light. He is no longer afraid of the cavern because he now sees and understands it.
